My path here hasn’t been a straight line. Before training as a therapist, I spent years in people-focused roles, supporting others through change and challenge. Along the way, I learned a lot about boundaries, burnout, and what happens when we keep putting everyone else first. Those lessons eventually became the foundation for my work — and for Blend itself.

Blend was born from a simple idea: to create a calm, welcoming space where people can untangle, heal, and grow. A place where therapy feels down-to-earth and human, not clinical or intimidating.

It’s also become a place for other therapists to do their best work.

In my own therapy work, I take a collaborative, practical approach. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, exploring what’s going on beneath the surface — the patterns, emotions, and beliefs that might be keeping you stuck — and finding ways to bring more balance and self compassion into your everyday life.

Outside of work, I’m originally from Newcastle, married, with two (now grown-up!) children who keep me laughing and grounded – and I’ll never say no to a bag of Revels.Professionally, I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Criminology, I’m a Certified NLP Master

Practitioner and Trainer, and I hold a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling. I draw on these approaches in a way that’s practical and flexible – meeting each person where they are and finding what works for them.

Whether I’m working one-to-one, leading a workshop, or helping another therapist settle into their room at Blend, what matters most to me is connection. I believe real change starts there — in honest
conversations, small insights, and moments of courage that build over time.
